 I had once seen an aquarium display where an aquarist had thought it would be a good idea to connect several horizontal fish tanks together with vertical glass tubes. However, the varying size and behaviors of the fish created a congestion in these vertical tubes. I had thought the scene was not only comedic, but very sad.
