This painting is my experimental depiction of my summer through the use of absurdist elements. I layer my subjects over one another with highly saturated color. Then I use dark confident brushstrokes to create line variation and gloss the background with soft textured marks to create a fuzzy gradient. This creates an effect that presses everything into the foreground. The irregular shape of the panel creates movement in the piece.
